We are on our way to the Amazon! In fact, tomorrow, we will be arriving in Pucallpa, Peru which is the entry point for boats headed to Iquitos. Iquitos is the largest city in the world (0.5 million people) that cannot be reached by road. We will be riding a riverboat for about 5 days down the Ucayali and Amazon rivers to reach the city. It should be interesting anyway.

Stay tuned.

In Bolivia

Hey all...I am in Bolivia now in La Paz...it´s about 3700 m above see level. The other day we hiked a volcano up to 4500m and tomorrow we´re riding our bikes from about 4600m to 2000m so that should be a nice downhill. Anyway, the pictures are in the same place as I slowly upload more:

Merco Sur.

Hello people. So, if you didn't know, I am South America visiting my brother. I flew into Santiago, Chile and rode the bus across Argentina and over to Paraguay and I literally just got into Asuncion a few hours ago and it's nice to finally get here to be able to relax and hang out with my brother and see what he's doing here with his volunteer work. So far I have had a good time seeing the landscapes and sights of South America. Also, I randomly saw Julia Stiles (Bourne Identity, etc.) in Buenos Aires...I checked the internet and she's filming a movie there so that was cool, I guess. Other than that, I can't think of much to say right now but maybe that's because I was on a 6 hour bus ride and I'm pretty tired and hungry. Anyway, when I get around to it, I'll post some pictures.
